Awareness Opens the Door to Healing
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, I want to assure you—you’re not alone, and healing is possible. My work is grounded in Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy, a gentle and powerful approach that uses mindfulness and self-inquiry to explore the rich, hidden world within. This experiential process invites us to listen to the wisdom held in your body, uncovering insights that go far deeper than words or thoughts alone can reach.
Our bodies carry the tenderness of our struggles and the wisdom of our experiences. By slowing down and bringing mindful attention to what is held within, we create space to connect with this inner knowing.
Many of the struggles we face today—whether in relationships, stress, or emotional pain—have their roots in early experiences. When our childhood needs for safety, connection, and understanding weren’t fully met, it left imprints that shaped how we see ourselves, relate to others, and respond to challenges. These patterns live within the soma—felt in sensations, breath, emotions, images, and the nervous system’s quiet responses. By slowing down and listening deeply, we invite the body’s wisdom to speak to us, revealing what has been held inside and opening a path to reconnection and healing.
Together, we’ll gently meet these old patterns with curiosity and care. By exploring conflicts within the soma and psyche, we can repair your relationship with yourself, soften the grip of outdated coping strategies, and create space for new ways of being. This process can restore clarity, deepen self-understanding, and open the door to more fulfilling relationships and a more meaningful life.
In a compassionate and safe environment, we’ll move at your pace to explore what’s held within you. As we work, the natural intelligence of your body and mind will guide us toward healing and wholeness, helping you reconnect with your true self and the life you long to live.

Hakomi is a Hopi word meaning - how do you stand in relation to these many realms, or who am I? The Hakomi Method is a form of mindfulness based experiential psychotherapy that integrates mindfulness and somatic interventions to heal attachment wounds and developmental trauma. By exploring present-moment content through the use of mindfulness, Hakomi seeks to rewire implicit memories, reorganising and reconsolidating our formative experiences. This way of inquiry often includes the effects of your developmental, intergenerational and ancestral imprints, offering an inquiry into who you are in the very heart of yourself.
The neuroscience of healing informs my methods, helping clients understand the physiological responses tied to their experiences. It’s also about re-learning and re-wiring neural pathways in the brain with slowness and wisdom. Bringing Neuroscience into our sessions provides the opportunity to deeply support the nervous system and associated organs whilst learning to experience a healthy window of tolerance and co-regulation.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) recognises the multifaceted nature of your inner world. It helps you navigate your internal system of parts, fostering self-awareness, acceptance, and integration. By cultivating curiosity and compassion for these parts, IFS supports your healing, growth, and journey towards wholeness.
Ultimately, I offer a therapeutic environment that supports self-discovery and healing, recognizing the interconnectedness of our whole worlds, the internal and external realms. This holistic perspective is central to my practice and enhances my ability to guide clients toward living wholeheartedly.
